Obituary for Frieda Wuskell (Botkin)
Frieda Botkin Wuskell age 74, wife of Edward “Ed” Wuskell, went to be with her Lord on Thursday Jan. 11, 2018. She passed peacefully after a long illness surrounded by family at her sister’s home. Frieda was born in Madison County to the late Charles and Helen Turner Botkin, she was retired from the Berea National Bank where she worked as Head Bookkeeper and Teller. Prior to her career in banking, she had worked at Brunner’s Studio in Berea. Frieda was a graduate of Lafayette Area Vocational-Technical School and Lee College. Frieda was a devout Christian who opened up her heart and her hands to everyone in need. Frieda was also preceded in death by her siblings: Ella Marie Frazier, Glenwood Botkin and Jean Botkin, nephew Charles “Chuck” Woodlee and sister in law Donna Alcorn Botkin.
Frieda is survived by her husband Ed Wuskell, her brother Michael “Mike” Botkin, her sisters: Judy Kate (John) Clark, Hyla (Jack) Bright, Faye Ballinger, Marian Lambert, and sister in law Recie Botkin. She had great love for her several nieces and nephews Lora Lee Lambert, Chris Clark, Charley Clark, Katie (Joseph) Sexton, Jessica (Scott) Bogdany, Jennifer Botkin, Danny (Marilyn) Ballinger, Travis (Sharon) Ballinger, Franklin Frazier, Greg (Debbie) Frazier, Keith (Rhonda) Woodlee, Mark Woodlee, Roger Dale (Sandy) Botkin, Charlie Glenn (Lisa) Botkin, Gail (Paul) Silva and Sandy (Shannon) Link. As well as several special great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services will be Monday Jan. 15, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Ballinger and Rev. Mitchell Tolle officiating, burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Ballinger, John Clark, Chris Clark, Charley Clark, Greg Frazier, Franklin Frazier, Keith Woodlee and Mark Woodlee. Visitation for Frieda will be Sunday Jan. 14, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Lakes Funeral Home.
