Obituary for Earlene Lamb (Adkins)
Earlene Sue Lamb, 57, of Pilot Knob Cemetery Rd., passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, March 27, 2017.
Earlene was born January 7, 1960 at Berea Hospital to Estill and Martha Opal Adkins.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Elbert; her daughters, Pamela (Shannon) Lamb of Powell County and Angie (T.J.) Burns of Owsley County; three beautiful grandchildren Madisyn Himes, Matthew Himes and Daniel Burns; her mother, Opal Adkins; three sisters, Ann (Jack) Gadd, Faye (James) Turner, and her twin sister Betty (Billy) Welch; four brothers Oscar (Betty Faye) Adkins, Pleaz (Doris) Adkins, Jerry Adkins and Glenn Adkins; she is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Estill Adkins and a sister, Edith Adkins.
Funeral services will be conducted at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 1pm with Bro. Roy Himes and Bro. Lee Abney officiating. Burial will follow in the Pilot Knob Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Pierson, Billy Welch, Cameron Gentry, Jerry Adkins, Glenn Adkins, and Tony Adkins. Honorary bearers will be Thomas Burns, Shannon Pasley, Madisyn Himes, Matthew Himes and Daniel Burns.
